Since August 22 2022 there are mass protests and riots throughout various city in Haiti demanding the prime minister Ariel Henri to resign from power. High price of gaz, $1.50 collected by the government on each transfer, high inflation and the continuous rise of the dollar versus the Haitian gourdes are amongst the grief of the people. The Haitian government is neglecting their demands and at time uses extreme force to dispersed the crowd resulting in many deadly casualties so far. The recent speech at the 77th assembly of United nations while the foreign minister declare that ” Everything is under control” is another proof that Ariel Henri backed by the US government is willing to commit atrocious crimes to remain in power by neglecting the will of the people. The school reopening scheduled on October 3rd 2022 caught in a political crossfire, will results in more casualties amongst Haitian students. Haiti is facing the worse political crisis in time where banks are closed. the streets are blocked, the justice system shutdown and nothing is functioning properly since August 22nd.
