Is the United States a refuge for gangs leaders while Canada imposing sanctions against them?

It is hard to believe that the United States who always claimed to be in support of Haiti has become a refuge for Haiti’s gangs leaders in contrast to Canada imposing sanctions against them. From the start of November, a multitude of sanctions including the seizure of bank accounts, travel restrictions and more have been imposed on prominent figures of the political class ànd the business sector in Haiti for their association with gangs terrorizing the population. The latest round of sanctions include a few well-known billionaires Gilbert Bigio, Sheriff Abdalah and Reynolds Deebs. They all owned significant assets including multi million dollars mansions in the US. Even though, The government of Canada failed to exposed their wealth in Canada, nevertheless these sanctions should be seen as a catalyst for other countries to follow. The list also includes former president Michel Martelly, ex-prime minister Laurent Lamothe, Henry Ceant, Herve Foucand, Joseph Lambert, Youri Latortue and many more well known political figures. Despite that many of them are under sanctions by Canada, some are still exempt from US sanctions and can still travel freely back and forth to the United States. Are those sanctions a facade for persuasion by Haiti’s colonisers? A facade to prove that they are willing to help in the fight against the streets gangs who were praised by Mrs Lalime ,the head of United Nations in Haiti , has the best thing that ever happened to the country. The federation of the gangs. Perhaps the waving of Russian flags in the streets of Haiti and the hatred sentiments of the population towards US Canada and France, prompt them to make positive changes against the chaotic situation of Haiti by armed gangs.
